日独楽友協会は演奏を通じて国際理解を深めようと1991年、世界的指揮者・フルーティストのクルト・レーデル教授を会長に迎え、在日ドイツ大使館、ルフトハンザなどの支援により設立されました。ドイツ・オーストリアのオーケストラとの共演、管弦楽、オペラ、室内楽の演奏会、ヨーロッパ演奏旅行などの演奏活動のほか28年間にわたって続けられている日本とヨーロッパでの指揮講習会、海外オーケストラでの研修など多彩な教育活動も行っています。

I had opportunities to attend masterclassses of Maestro Naoki Sugiyama in July, 2013 with Tallinn Sinfonietta in Tallinn (Estonia) and in September of 2015 with Beethoven Symphony Orchestra in Vienna (Austria).  

Maestro Sugiyama shared his big experience with all participants of the masterclasses and showed precisely how to improve our conducting skills, encouraged us to work hard on batton technique and score analysis.
I had a great honour to conduct the final concert in a “Gläserner Saal” of “Musikverein” in Vienna, as one of the best participants of the masterclass which was a big first step in my conducting career.
